Gaston Glock was born on July 19th, 1929, in Vienna, Austria. He started his career as a knives and curtain rods manufacturer. Yet became an expert in polymers, a substance or material consisting of very large molecules, over the years. Glock began manufactured components for the Austrian army on an injection-molding machine which he bought in 1980.
