Finn Wolfhard is a Canadian actor, director, musician, and screenwriter. He began his acting career in the early 2010s and quickly rose to prominence when he became a main cast member of the Netflix series Stranger Things. For his outstanding performance, he also received a Screen Actors Guild Award out of three nominations.

He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on December 23, 2002. He’s of German, Jewish, and French descent. Finn is the second child of Eric, a researcher on aboriginal land claims, and Mary Wolfhard, an artist at a kids clothes brand Dormouse Design. He has an older brother, Nick, who is also an actor.

Since the late 2000s, Finn has been attending the Catholic school in Vancouver. He became interested in acting when he was just ten years old. To improve his acting skills, he took part in various acting classes and theatres. His first acting job came from Craigslist, which was later followed by a role in The CW series The 100. Portraying the small role of Zoran marked his acting and television debut. In late 2014, he starred in another popular show – Supernatural, where he played the role of Jordie Pinsky.

In 2016, Wolfhard was announced as the leading cast member of the forthcoming Netflix series Stranger Things.
