Daniel Brühl was born on June 16, 1978 in Barcelona, Spain. He became world famous when he played the role of Frederick Zoller in Quentin Tarantino‘s Inglourious Basterds in 2009. He then appeared in Rush with Chris Hemsworth, and most recently, as Dr. Laszlo Kreizler in The Alienist for two seasons from 2018 to 2020.
