Daniel Jeffery Henderson, an American mixed martial artist and former Olympic wrestler, was born on August 24, 1970. His estimated net worth is $9 million. Henderson started competing in wrestling when he was five years old. In 2000 at PRIDE 12, Henderson suffered a decision loss to former PRIDE Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva. He had the chance to exact revenge in his last PRIDE battle (PRIDE 33). Henderson was the welterweight champion of the group at the time.
Henderson scored a big left hook in the third round that decisively finished the fight in his favor. Henderson became the first mixed martial artist to hold championship belts in two distinct weight classes in a significant organization thanks to the victory. Later, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson would defeat him in his attempt to unify the PRIDE and UFC 205-pound crowns.
