Bounty Killer was born on June 12th, 1972, in Jamaica as Rodney Basil Price. He moved to Kingston when he was little. As an teenager, he started his career as a deejay. He came up with his stage name “Bounty Killer” at the age of 14 while he was in hospital after being shot. In 1992, he started recording with King Jammy.
Reggae and dancehall artist Bounty Killer is most well known as the founder of “The Alliance”, a dancehall collective, together with deejay Mavado and Vybz Kartel.
