About Ainsley Earhardt
Earhardt made the move to San Antonio, Texas, in 2005, where she currently works as an anchor for the daily morning and noon newscasts on KENS-TV. She participated in the Austin, Texas half-marathon, skydived with the United States Army’s Golden Knights, and flew in an F-16 with the United States Air Force Thunderbirds while she was living in Texas. All of these activities took place at the United States Air Force Academy.
Earhardt spent her early childhood in the Foxcroft neighborhood of Charlotte, North Carolina, despite the fact that she was born in the nearby city of Spartanburg, South Carolina. When Earhardt was still in elementary school, her family made the move to the Columbia, South Carolina, area. She attended Spring Valley High School and received her diploma in the year 1995.
Even before she received her degree from the University of South Carolina, Earhardt was given a position as a reporter at WLTX, the local CBS station in Columbia, South Carolina. She worked as the morning and lunchtime anchor for the station during the years 2000 to 2004. She went to New York City after the attacks on September 11 to cover the story of students from a middle school in South Carolina who had raised almost half a million dollars to give to firefighters so that they could purchase a new fire truck to replace one that had been destroyed at the World Trade Center site.
Earhardt’s first marriage, which took place in April 2005 to Kevin McKinney and lasted until 2009, ended in divorce. Earhardt tied the knot with Will Proctor, a former quarterback at Clemson University, in the month of October 2012. They only have one child between them. In October of 2018, Proctor filed for divorce after Earhardt stated that they were separating and claims surfaced that he had been unfaithful during their marriage. They finalized their divorce in 2019.
In 2007, Earhardt made the trip to New York City and started working for the Fox News Channel there. Before being hired by Roger Ailes to work at the network, Earhardt has acknowledged that she “did not know the first thing about politics” Ailes was the one who made the hiring decision. She has co-hosted Fox and Friends Weekend, All-American New Year’s Eve, and America’s News Headquarters, and she has also made an appearance on Hannity, where she had her own program called “Ainsley Across America” Both “The Live Desk” and “Greg Gutfeld‘s Red Eye” included her as a panelist at one point or another.
Earhardt praised Trump’s decision to fire FBI Director James Comey, stating that the decision was appropriate. In the midst of negotiations between the Trump administration and Kim Jong-Un, Fox & Friends aired photographs from North Korea showing Kim Jong-Un touring various industries in his country. Host Ainsley Earhardt referred to the images as “very romantic”. She made a false statement in 2017 to the effect that “5.7 million . . . illegal immigrants might have voted” in the election that took place in 2008.
According to Vanity Fair, Earhardt started dating fellow Fox News personality Sean Hannity in August of 2019, shortly after the two of them arrived together as guests for a wedding at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey. The wedding took place at Trump National Golf Course.
According to Vanity Fair, she hosted her Fox & Friends program during the COVID-19 outbreak from a remote studio located in the basement of Hannity’s estate on Long Island. Earhardt refutes the existence of any connection.
In May of 2019, after The New York Times documented Trump’s “deep financial distress” between the years of 1985 and 1994, which included losing more money than almost any other American taxpayer, Earhardt praised Trump. This was in spite of the fact that Trump lost more money than almost any other American taxpayer.
Following the fire of the Fox Christmas tree located outside of its New York headquarters in December 2021, Earhardt, a fervent Christian, caused concerns to be raised when she made a statement that raised eyebrows.
