How Did Aidonia Get So Rich?
Aidonia was born on April 6th, 1981, in Kingston, Jamaica as Sheldon Aitana Ricardo Lawrence. He created his stage name using his football nickaname Donia and first two letters from his middle name. Aidonia would like to become a DJ since he was twelve years old. He started writing lyrics when he was studying at school and he formed a crew with his friends titled JAG1, Jah A Guide.
Then he was expelled and moved to USA together with his father, where he found a job at FedEx. But he was still visiting Jamaica and kept working on his music. In 2003, Aidonia released his first single titled Many a Dem under the Goofy’s Young Blood label. After that, he started working together with Rod Pinnock and performing at Battle Thursdays.
In 2004, Aidonia released a hit titled Lolly, which he recorded in Cordell “Skatta”‘ Burrell’s studio. A year later the hit appeared on Strictly The Best compilation by VP Records. Together with the J.O.P members, he collaborated on several hits, such as Run Road and All 14 in next years. He keep successfully working in the music industry.
